After finishing the "Races" test, I was surprised to see that my results showed that I prefer European Americans than African Americans. I find this result very unusual considering my personality because I believe that I am not a racist person in general; I tend to mix with all types of kids in my school, no matter their skin color or origin are.
The reasons why I got these results could vary. One of these reason would be the misconception we, people, have towards african american or any "black skinned" people that they aren't such nice and good people. In most movies, gangsters or prisoners appear as african americans-which creates a stereotype that they are bad people. Tying this concept to the test, it was easier for me to associate African Americans with Bad and European Americans with Good.
